This pretty 100 year old cottage in Tasmania retained its original character, while a few more modern updates here and there only serve to enhance its charm. The style of the décor is wonderful fresh country style, full of charm and light. White walls and ceilings and warm-colored natural wood floors comprise a wonderful background. Rustic furniture from rough wood make the interiors warmer and cozier and a lot of pieces in the house are family treasures. Relics of the past have made their way through the new extension, which was originally a storage area. The staircase was maintained from the original house, and so were some timber boards used throughout the house. Rustic beauty is so delicate and so inviting!
