This modern eye-catchy apartment with art nouveau touches was designed for an American couple in Barcelona

This cool modern apartment with art nouveau touches is located in Barcelona and belongs to an American couple who decided to make this city their second home. They asked Vilablanch to make a renovation, and the latter did a fantastic job.

The home is spacious, bright and cozy and has some beautiful touches of art nouveau style. The architects maximized the possibilities of each space and preserved all those original elements with historical or contextual value. The designers opened the spaces to connect them with each other, they made the spaces airy and achieved a spacious feeling.

The small kitchen features sleek white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances for a chic modern look, and the dining space is right here, next to the window. There’s a wall-mounted wooden bench, table and a couple of mid-century modern chairs of the same wood. Cool black pendant lamps with inner gold surface and mosaic tiles on the floor added a character and style to the space.

The living room is a stunning airy and open space with lots of light. Chic modern loungers by the window, a gorgeous beige leather sofa, mosaic tiles on the floor and a creative silver artwork on the wall make it trendy and eye-catching not depriving of coziness. Several upholstered ivory chairs, a glass coffee table and black lamps finish the look. there’s also a small and comfy home office nook with a desk, a leather chair and a bookshelf.

The master bedroom is done in ivory and peach: ivory walls and the upholstered bed look amazing with peach-colored chairs, wardrobe and an antique makeup table. Plasterwork and refined chandeliers make the space stunning.
