This beautiful apartment in Barcelona was built in the 50s by Francesc Mitjans. It has been recently rebuilt by designers Patrizia Casarini and Monica Colominas from the design studio Dalla Polvere. The designers decided to leave some vintage details from that time but all the rest was structurally changed. I like the organic fusion of styles: traditional sofas in the living room with an African stool and an animal’s skin on the floor, vintage table and modern chairs in the study, French-style armchairs and a rustic table in the dining room, exquisite lamps and fur in the bedroom. The apartment looks very harmonious, antique furniture and a collection of contemporary art adds warmth to the living space.
