Dear bachelors, if you are looking for some inspiration for designing a man cave, I have an idea for you! This bachelor’s pad is full of cool examples to rock.

Looking for help in designing his downtown Chicago apartment, an algorithm developer reached out to Inspired Interiors for guidance, and they created a great living space for him. The bachelor pad displays elements of the mathematician’s personality throughout giving him a comfortable place to live and display his interests, including his collection of graffiti art.

An industrial vibe sets the vibe of the apartment, which is filled with custom pieces made from reclaimed materials, books, colorful artwork, and rich tones. The dining table was handcrafted using an antique gate from the Barnes & Noble flagship store, and it’s paired with modern chairs from Cassina.

The homeowner is a voracious reader who happens to finish over 100 books a year so creating various areas to sit back and read was important. They salvaged a bucket seat from a 1970’s Porsche and repurposed it into a reclining chair.

In the bedroom, the designers fashioned a herringbone bookcase wall to house some of the many books in his collection. Upstairs, they designed a place for entertaining and because they couldn’t find a sofa the client liked, they had a sectional custom built that could be configured in various ways.
