If you like nature and wood and at the same iPhones, then have a look here! iTree by KMKG is a docking station or the iPhone and iPod and it’s made out of an actual tree trunk. The combination is very unusual – high technologies and rough log. These old trees got new use in our homes! iTree is made from a tree trunk that has been hollowed out and turned into a HiFi sound system with optimum sound quality. Each tree is unique, of course, it has its distinguishable features and details so you get a unique design and an unusual docking station in one. You can choose your own type of wood, length and built-in technologies.

Previously it included backs, bookcases, shelves, different containers and other stuff needed to create perfect furniture solution for a living room. With the new TV unit, design very original and practical “open” solutions is even more easy. It is equipped with a CD-DVD stand, where you store all your home theater boxes. The back of the unit is made of reflecting glass and can incorporate LCD screens up to 50 inches in width. It also has retro-lacquering which hide everything besides inside of the screen. Modular Transformable Sofa – Night and Day from Molteni&C

Night and Day is a new seating system designed by Patricia Urquiola as the new innovative solutions for saving space. It’s the single piece of furniture that implements functions of many separate ones. Sleep, work, relax, watching tv and many other things are possible with it. Night & Day has the design without limits: colors, sizes, adjustable back and built-in accessories can be combined together to satisfy individual needs. The foundation of the system is a thin platform that is curved up to form a back rest. The curved section is actually flexible and can be adjusted from a vertical seating position to a reclining one.
There are as wide as tall versions of the platform with cushions, which are sized to function as a single bed, or not. Multiple platforms could be combined to adapt various sized spaces. The system also could be accompanied by storage bins, tables, and some clever pouches with integrated reading lights that hold magazines, books, and newspapers. Night and Day is a Molteni & C attempt to push the boundaries of versatility by a new take on modular furniture design.

Audiovideo from Lyneus is a vertical TV cabinet, characterized by rounded shape underlined by a curvilinear chromed-brass profile. The unit was presented on Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2009 as the cabinet in which all the electronic devices are concealed to appear “on demand” thanks to motorised opening systems. The Audiovideo could come as stand alone as combined with other units if more space needed for the whole home entreatment system. The cabinet has built-in loudspeaker system manufactured by DIAPASON. It can integrate LCD or Plasma screen between 40 and 50 inches, hided behind a back-lacquered glass panel.
