When Charlie Kratzer started on the basement art project in his south Lexington home, he was surrounded by walls painted a classic cream. He bought Magic Marker and Sharpie for $10 and after the place become drawn all over. He drawn a lot of famous art pieces there all by himself. The Walrus and the Carpenter (from Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There), Salon by Picasso Georges Seurat’s Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte and others could be found on Charlie’s basement walls. Isn’t that cool that if you have such good drawing school you can decorate your walls so cheap?

Are you a romantic man? Romantic feelings is all you’re thinking when see a bridge around basements pool. Everybody knows that if wish something romantic below the bridge, the wishes will come true.

Bridge in Basement

Although there aren’t many houses with a pool and a bridge in them, the one above glue together medieval and modern style somewhere in Italy. Stone wall with Gothic appeal and wood materials together with modern ceramic floor, polish columns and silver railings create a great composition. The composition and the bridge are quite unforgettable for everybody who see this, so architect’s idea is really creative.
