Industrial design is high fashion today. And isn’t that cool – to make an amazing piece of some usual thing that generally isn’t considered beautiful? Stella Bleu design presents Plumber bookshelves made of real tubes. Have a look: the designer just took the usual tubes and gave them a new color. Now it’s a cool modern piece, it’s a shelf that can be hung on the wall and there you can place anything you want. The shelf is very convenient; it’s stable and has two bulbs to light the books you have. Any modern space would look great with that, and black color would match everything.

The Lovely Rita shelf was designed by Ron Arad back in 1996. It’s a surprisingly modern design considering the year of the conception. The shelf is made of batch-dyed PVC. Today this shelf was re-edited by Kartell. Why was it re-edited? Because the idea is cool, it’s functional and very attention attracting. Here you can place books or any other objects. You can create original and interesting combinations and you can even use them to create your own bookcase. To me these shelves remind of snakes. The price is $285.00 and that’s not much for such a fashionable and creative piece. What do you think?

First works of designer Frederick Farg are marked by the experiments with fabric and upholstery. Now he presented a collection of furniture called Succession. These are chairs and shelves that are made with some fabric that is spread rather chaotically. I think the furniture looks a little bit surrealistic. The collection is available in several sizes but only in dark colors. Modern storage solutions are functional and look really unusual. The low chairs look like some unreal animals from some other planet. They are not easy to combine with but if you find a match – you won’t regret.
