Flamenco is an expressive dance of love with beautiful dresses and costumes. This dance inspired the creation of this piece. Lolilla Chair by Ahsayane Studio is inspired by the beautiful and bold flamenco dresses of southern Spain. To make the chair, the designers fashioned ruffles and swirls using red and white fabric and hand mounted each piece one by one by with 120 bicolor balls atop white chair legs. It’s a perfect piece for a glamorous pink interior; it’s also soft and comfortable. Many girls would be happy to decorate their space with such an original and smart chair.

TEAM 7 is a great company that produces ecologically designed furniture. This year one of their products won the renowned Interior Innovation Award 2012. This product is the Aye chair designed by Jacob Strobel. According to designer Jacob Strobel, “the chair’s organic design reflects original models in nature. The strikingly tailored backrest gives aye an airy appearance and invites the observer to grasp the light chair and move it.” The chair features wood legs and is upholstered with fine leather. It can be characterized by its aesthetic form and comfort and even sitting in it for hours would be comfortable.

Beehive Chair was created by Structural Integrity, a New Zealand company. The chair whose author is Graham Roebeck really reminds of a hive. Modern design, white and natural wood – a perfect combination- make a cool chair for any modern space. It’s also durable as it’s made of MDF; Beehive has beeswax polish to the edges, and uses Warm White Formica high pressure laminate to the vertical faces. The style and the patterns on the sides make the piece special. Maybe it’s not so soft because there is no cushion but the back has such an anatomic shape that it would be comfortable to sit. It’s not just a chair – it’s a real sculpture.

Crazy Colorful Meltdown Chair

This crazy colorful chair is PE stripe meltdown chair by British designer Tom Price. He used unconventional materials and methods of a stack of colorful woven plastic rugs on a solid stainless steel frame. The rugs are set in the shape of the mould, cooling into the finished product. The designer says that the chair is a collaboration with materials, processes and phenomena and it’s a product of their mutual consent. The result is crazy, smash, surrealistic and funky. Unreal style, unreal mixture of materials and unreal colors – crazy futurism. Would you put such a chair in your space?

Designer Floris Wubben inspired by the natural beauty of the wood decided to create an object that would highlight the natural beauty without distracting attention. It’s the Eyrie Chair that is made of steam bent ash, the connections between the slats are made using an Ash ‘pin’ and wood glue all of which sits on a frame formed by wooden branches.
