Industrial design is to the point in many modern interiors. Designers use various things and their parts to create pieces but thus design is very original. REWASHLAMP Project by Portuguese designer To Martins is the lamps made of salvaged washing-machine parts. Though it’s industrial design the look is chic and very aesthetic, it’s a great idea for any room – the living room, bedroom, home office or library. These floor lamps feature adjustable-height bases in a range of finishes, and are topped with a selection of very chic lampshades in a rainbow of colors, materials and textures to suit every style preference and every interior.

Modern minimalist lighting adds fresh and stylish touches to the interior. Have a look at this new collection for B.Lux: Parabola by Miguel Herranz. This lamp plays with the parabola effect to project light, whilst integrating its curved reflector into a square frame, which allows it to adapt better to different ambiences and settings. Parabola has rounded corners which provide geometric balance and soften the overall look of the lamp. Parabola has a mirror in the centre, which hides the fluorescent 55W bulb and prevents glare. The mirror is designed to give another dimension to the space where the light is fitted. The measurements of Parabola are 60 x 60 cm and it’s manufactured of brushed injected polyurethane painted in a matt white finish. Beautiful, stylish, simple – what can be better for a modern interior?

These beautiful lamps by Caroline Olsson were inspired by the imposing forest beside century-old Norwegian glassworks Magnor Glassverk. “Simply place a few of the lights together on the floor or on a table in order to create your own little forest.” The Skog series consists of several lights in different sizes, shapes and colors – mostly colors of nature like green or yellow – which can be used in combination or as standalone pieces; the top is of glass, the base is of wood. What can be easier than a couple of transparent lamps? They are bright, simple, stylish and match any interior.

Matthieu Lehanneur decided to do an impossible thing: to show a plume of smoke in glass. The glass orb is called S.M.O.K.E. and it shows ethereal and ephemeral qualities of deceptively delicate gases. The designer says that this lamp shows an explosion. Examining issues of science and the environment, Lehanneur provides solidity and visibility to the pressing issue of air pollution with a playful and thought provoking style. It’s available in white and black and is placed into a stone stand. Concrete Outdoor Pendant Lamps

It’s a limited edition pendant light for outdoor usage consisting of three hand molded fiber-cement shells and sailing rope. Eternit fiber-cement is a highly durable, recyclable material made of natural materials like cellulose fibers and water and was originally developed as a material for cladding and roof coverings. The combination is unreal and the colors attract attention, too. Can you imagine such simple materials that become stylish and unusual pendants? Mix of yellow sailing rope and cement is fantastic, it’s a bit of industrial design for your garden.
