Colorful Modern Sideboard With Rotating Green Boxes

If you are looking for a colorful sideboard, maybe for the kids’ room, have a look at Keepsake Box № 18 by François Chambard from UM Project. This small sideboard is manufactured of old Arne Jacobsen chairs, that were taken in parts, and colorful boxes. The boxes have several sections where you can put everything you like; if it’s a kid’s room, your child will put there his or her drawings, felt-tip pens and toys. The boxes are opened not in a usual way but they rotate. Natural wood combines with bright green very well and creates a cool effect. It’s a cool piece for any modern room, even a kid’s one.

This is a cool transparent drawer system by Nomess Copenhagen that creates mostly transparent pieces of interior. The drawer is made of a steel frame, acryl with small wheels. It has many boxes to put your things in. It leaves an impression of lightness, transparency, easiness and it’s very functional – you won’t have to open all the boxes looking for the thing you need. Jory Brigham created this beautiful and stylish piece of teak and ipe, accentuated the abstract leg and wavelike drawer pulls, just two of the more interesting facets of this credenza. Colorful Candy-Like Sideboard

We have already told you of some sweets-like furniture, for example, Mr Smith the Second chair or Slice coffee table. Now we tell you about a sideboard that is like a piece of candy that would be a nice set with the chair. Edna 1 and Edna 3 by Michael Hartley, the same designer that has created Mr Smith the Second, is made of lacquered wood. I love the funny candy-like colors, especially cool is that they are the same inside. You may choose 1 or 3 drawers. Such colors would raise your spirits; they look very colorful but minimalist. The chair with the sideboard are really a great set, we are waiting for more colorful pieces from the designer.

The system is in different color combinations and with lighting effects and reflections to enrich the visual experience. It consists of a series of modules and bases that can be mixed together and configured as needed. There is so many pieces of modern minimalist furniture today, every designer is trying to find a new concept. But I have never seen anything like that! Jory Brigham Design presents the Sisters Collection and Retro Collection. The furniture is made of natural materials but they are so different! All the materials despite their unusually mixed colors and finishes are very matching. Could you imagine a sideboard of natural chocolate-colored, pistachio-colored and light beige wood? And all these colors look very harmonious and very modern! The collections remind me of something classically Japanese but in a new way: with new materials and stunning colors. Aren’t these pieces amazing?

Modular Storage System Of Round Shape In The Best Traditions Of Japan

We have already told you about some Japanese furniture like a modern drawer that may be used as a room divider. One more piece is a storage system in the best traditions of Japan. This storage system called Mushiki was created by designer Tomás Alonso from Spain. He took the main principles of classical Japanese furniture like simplicity, natural color and stylish shapes and realized them all in one piece. Mushiki has a round form and it’s modular, you can put in as many drawers as you like. If you use just one then Mushiki may be used as a side table or a night stand. The piece is available only in one color – color of natural wood.
