This beautiful and harmonious home is located in Italy, on heels of Umbria and Tuscany. Casali di Monticchio is a luxury space with its own winter garden, pool, library and billiard room. The atmosphere remained antique; rough wooden beams, stone, traditional fireplaces and restored floor give this special feeling of something old and stylish. The furniture is also traditional and of light colors not to distract attention from the antique surroundings but to frame it beautifully. This fantastic traditional house is located in France. The interior is classical and made in warm shades. Light yellow tones of wood, rough wood furniture, natural stone – all this gives such a feeling of coziness! I love the rough stone walls and beige door curtains! The vintage accessories and classical candle like chandeliers remind us that this house interior is done in the best French traditions. This house is one of the best variants to relax, it’s a luxurious country house in the best classical traditions in white, beige and light yellow. Every detail reminds us of Provence. Isn’t it beautiful?

This sweet nice house in Denmark belongs to a small family from Paris – Charlotte Gueniau, her husband and son. Charlotte is the founder of the brand Rice that sells decorative elements and accessories and Charlotte can’t live without color and pattern. Antique furniture, colored tissues and patterns make a fantastic atmosphere. The house is full of light and bright colors. Charlotte considers that there is nothing better to wake up than turquoise so the kitchen is done in this color. I love the dining room with white ceiling and walls, with a rustic but bright and modern touches. The furniture is of different brands and even antique. This house is the best one to forget about the crazy fast rhythm of life in Paris.

Have you ever wanted to leave the city and start a secluded and calm life in a village? This house was designed by the mother of the twins Shep and Georgia for her own family. She created the design of the house herself. This house is located in a village and is full of fantastic vintage things. Simple wooden walls, furniture, floor and ceiling were made to highlight that this space is in the country. The accessories and furniture in some rooms look like eclectic – patchwork, Eastern lamps, plenty of vintage. The atmosphere in the house is very cozy and sweet. I think it’s the best place for growing up children, isn’t it?

Villa With A Horse In The Living Room

This villa is located not far from Göteborg. It was built for a family with two children. The house is on the hill on the sea shore so the architects needed to take this thing into consideration. The interior is light, modern and colorful. The inner light was maximized with the help of big windows and white color inside. I love the sideboard in the dressing room! It’s colorful ad gives life and fun. In the living room you can see an interesting fireplace that looks like an old stove though it’s made of concrete. There is a horse in the dining room. It’s a plastic horse from Mooi with a lamp on the head – a very interesting detail that definitely attracts attention.

Beautiful Farm House In The 18th Century Style

Designer Penelope Bianchi has presented her Provençal farmhouse in Santa Barbara. The house was built just 15 years ago but the design made it look like it’s been around for generations. Bianchi is fond of the design of the 18th century so she decided to do her best with the house. The interiors are authentic and the designer even managed to put a statue in the living room so that it looks harmoniously. The lights are stylized for street lamps and candles. The colors and rags also remind of the 18th century. All the furniture supports the style and there is a zinc-lined copper tub dating from the 1860s in the bathroom. Even outside the style is held ideally: the vines are climbing all over the house and inside the loggia.

Traditional Rustic House In Denmark

The tiled roof and many windows make this small house look like one of these old rustic houses in the villages at the seaside. You will be surprised when you’ll find out that this little house is located in Denmark. To underline the antique style designers put different old things in the garden like an old watering pot, lamp or bench. Inside you will find the same picture: each detail reminds of a village. Even the floor looks like usual wood not like expensive laminated flooring board. Multicolored rugs and bedspreads gain the feeling of a village house. The furniture is vintage and it looks very old and used. Isn’t it a nice work of the designers who managed to hold the style in each detail?

A Castle In The Southern Italy To Spend A Weekend

This castle called Trullihusen was designed for Morten Angelo and Tina Horstedt from Denmark. They wanted to choose a place to go for weekends or holidays so it shouldn’t be too far from Denmark. So Italy was chosen, a village in the South of Italy, Apuglia. The house looks like a castle of the Middle Ages; its area is 300 square meters. White stone inside looks really harmonious with modern furniture, the windows are arched like in old castles. When you are inside, there is a feeling of adventures! The architect managed to combine the old style architecture and a very old tree in the yard with modern furniture and a swimming pool. Would you like to have a rest in such a castle?

Modern House With Unusual Exterior for a Weekend

This house is located in Québec, Canada, called La Cornette by YH2 for two families. It’s not a typical country house to come for a weekend because of its exterior. The architects played with the geometry of form to attract attention and the managed to do it in the best way. Such a house definitely wouldn’t look in harmony with the surroundings but the owners didn’t want it. The wanted something different that would inspire. The interior is absolutely modern with simple neutral colors and plenty of natural wood everywhere. To complete a very modern look the designers put a contemporary fireplace and a home cinema. Natural light is everywhere. All these details make this place ideal to spend a weekend or more.

Minimalist House With Nature Inside It

Casa Tres Rios by Taalmankoch Architecture was built, first of all, to enjoy nature. The house is located on the area of 7 acres, its surface is not big. The clients wanted to maximize the contact with nature, almost to live in it. That’s why the architects decided to make all the walls of glass. To keep privacy they built a closed yard and also put the house in the area so that it is hidden by the trees from all its sides. The interior is modern and cozy; there are no unnecessary details as all the attention is paid to nature that is almost inside the house. Everything is simple and brilliant. I think it’s one of the best places to forget about busy city life, relax and feel the integrity with nature.
