Renovated Modern Boathouse Of Natural Wood

Lake houses are always special because the atmosphere on the lake shore is calm and relaxing. This amazing house supports the calming idea thanks to the wood of which it’s built. It’s located on Lake Muskoka, state Ontario, Canada; it’s called Muskoka Boathouse. This is a renovated boathouse of 600 square feet. Christopher Simmonds Architects managed to give the house a very modern look: below the stairs there is a pier, and above everything is done is natural wood: the floor, the ceiling and the walls. The furniture is minimalist and its amount is also minimal; the interior is very simple. Big windows are giving beautiful views of the lake.

Airy And Bright Modern Apartment In Brazil

This modern bright and airy apartment is located in Brazil. Clear, modern sleek lines and black and white color scheme make the house airy and fresh. To add some softness, the designers used beige color, and to make colorful accents they put some bright furniture around. Giant windows form floor to ceiling let the day light in; a storage wall in the living room is a smart variant for storage. Thanks to white and beige the space looks bigger. Minimalist white kitchen with wood is made funnier with the help of colorful tiles on the left wall. They are all different and help to make the place alive. The same shade of brown wood used everywhere in the apartment gives a special feature to it. It’s like Brazil itself – bright, fresh and colorful, full of light.

This modern apartment by Thomas Phifer and Partners is an icon of minimalist style. This apartment at first glance seems like a minimalist place with some very nice iconic furniture. But the unique details are what give a personality to this place. The mirrored faceted inset windows are pretty unique because mirrors make the pace look wider and create an unreal effect. A group of framed texts makes a statement. There are no unnecessary details, textures or colors, everything is simple. This place leaves a lasting impression of an art object of post-postmodernism and just a house.

She has an artistic taste and so every detail in the house is dramatic, cool and sometimes unexpected. The furniture is modern but the accessories and decorations are so various! This modern house in a mix of styles is located in London. The interior is airy due to natural wood, lots of white color and big windows. Unique 4-Story House Built In The 60s

This piece of art, Iconic Urban Retreat designed by the architect Paul Rudolph, is listed in the New York City. The apartment has 4 stories, it’s done in glass and steel which wasn’t typical for the 60s. The stairs are elegant and fit perfectly the wooden floors and take you one step at a time to the upper rooms. The house has four bedrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a home office, a roof terrace with a garden and a garage. Approximately one third of every floor is opened to bellow and lets you see the sky wide open. Here celebrities like Sean Connery, Liza Minnelli and Brigitte Bardot used to have a good time and you have a chance to buy it and feel a celebrity, too.

Cheerful Bright House In Minimalist Style In Portugal

This beautiful modern house is located in Portugal. The interior is modern, cozy and in warm tones. Cheerful red, orange, intense wood colors create a joyous atmosphere. Minimalism is softened with some details and accessories like a fir pouffe, carpets or bedspreads. Stylish sleek surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom are black but they don’t spoil the cheerful impression of the house. Windows form floor to ceiling let the light in. The bedroom is calmer: the ceiling is not decorated in wood, it’s white, the floor is blue, orange pillows, lamps and wall are harmonized by a black bedspread. In whole, the impression is very bright, it makes you want to live there.

Bali is a real paradise on the earth. This colonial style villa is located here. The house has all characteristic features of this style: red, beige and brown color scheme, much wood, colonial style of furniture. The inside is decorated with local art – sculptures and paintings. Wicker furniture with red color gives a special shade to the living room. Outside there is a big pool and a terrace that is hidden from the sun by the roof. Windows from ceiling to floor are covered with jalousie because of hot climate and constant sun but everybody can enjoy the nature having opened the windows. Welcome to the tropical paradise!

It’s winter and it’s high time to enjoy the fun of this season! Skiing, skating and snowboarding – that’s what we need. This chalet in the fashionable resort Courchevel, France, is right for this things, its whole interior is created for enjoying winter and feeling cozy and calm.
