Contemporary House with Clean and Simple Plan and Interior

This contemporary house has quite clean and simple plan that draws its inspiration from the unique site, consisting of dense canopy and unencumbered views of the surrounding canyons. Like the site, the house is composed of two distinct and equally appealing parts – private and public – that are defined by a thick interior wall running physically and figuratively through the length of the house and beyond. The interior is also looking very clean thanks to linear shapes, simple materials and carefully placed furniture. Ultra Modern House with 3 Levels and Ocean Views from Everywhere

This ultra-modern house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms located only 250 meters from a beach. There are three levels with open terraces and large floor-to-ceiling windows so the house features uninterrupted ocean views almost from every its part. The top level is perfect for an entertaining because beside amazing views from the deck it features a bar, a toilet and a lounge area with LCD TV. There is also one more lounge area on the ground level where watching TV is also possible. The fully equipped kitchen features ultra modern Miele appliances. Besides that there are plenty other high-tech things in the house like a remote controlled ceiling fan system, security system, and so on. The outdoor entertaining area is also great thanks to the illuminated 12×4 meter pool. This house could be booked for spending a weekend there.

Modern House Designed to Catch All Views Around It

This beautiful house is designed by Gudmundur Jonsson in the countryside of Iceland. The design’s main purpose is to catch all beautiful views around it in all directions: towards south the view to the sea and islands, towards north the characteristic triangular mountain, towards east the glacier and towards west the river and canyon. The exterior is consist of large glazings, natural wood and stone bricks. That makes the house blends better with the site. The interior is done in modern minimalist style. Fabulous and Modern Flat Interior Design

This modern flat is designed for a New York couple with three kids under 10 years old. The couple works in media industry so their design expectations were very high. In the result they got a fabulous 3400-square-foot space for contemporary lifestyle which is safe for their kids. Almost every room feels light and airy thanks to neutral color palette and used materials. The three-bedroom flat possesses versatility to be transformed to suit evolving tastes as the children grew older. Furniture and surfaces around the flat are made of contemporary materials that are easy to clean and looks very modern. Really Modern Yet Cozy and Livable Interior Design

Modern interior designs are usually associates with cold minimalist rooms that aren’t very cosy. Although that isn’t always so and here is an example of how modern interior could be made very very livable. The project is called Critz and it’s done by Pepe Calderin Design. It features all elements of modern interior design like glass tables, an unusual yet minimalist furniture, a color theme, linear forms and so on. Contemporary Mountain House Design Blended With Natural Surrounings

This stunning contemporary house is located in the Sierra Madre mountain range where it’s trying to establish an intimate connection with the natural environment around it. Almost 6000 square feet house was build with a lot of natural materials like wood, stone and marble so even with its contemporary and urban design it blends well with surroundings. It’s open towards the street and can be accessed from there crossing over a fountain from which a huge oak tree grows. There is also a small oak forest that was left in the garden. Thanks to the fact that the living room conceived almost as a glass box, views of this garden and of the Sierra Madre peaks could be experienced from there. White Apartment Interior Design with Black and Natural Wood Accents

This gorgeous 93 square meters apartment is newly renovated situated on the top five floor of the building. That building is located in a very cosy area with a lot of small stores that offers things that could be found on modern shopping streets. The apartment has three rooms and features high ceilings, boarder floors, beautiful woodwork and a free confidential balcony with sun from both east and west. White color theme dominates around the interior but there are plenty elements in other colors. Black and bright colorful accents could be found everywhere. Thanks to the renovation this wonderful apartment become very cosy and cool place to live.

Modern Brick Home Design and Plan

This house is an evolution of a prototype of chinese courtyard house. Even though it has modern and mainmast look it establish a good relationship with the surrounding environment espically the big lake not so far away from it. It’s constructed from local materials, mostly of red bricks. Thanks to that and using local workers during construction works the cladding is almost perfect. Besides that also cut the project budget a lot. Client of brick house, an famous poet in China dived himself into whole process, he works together with architect. In the result they managed to crean clean and minimalist design with unique look. [Atelier Zhanglei]

House on Restrictive Narrow Lot with Loft-Like Interior Plan

Noyack Creek House is one of the latest works of Bates Masi Architects which already won 11 architectural awards. It belongs to a New York actor as his place for relaxing and entertaining. The house was built on restrictive narrow lot fronting the tidal estuary of Noyack Creek. As its exterior as its interior they are both done in contemporary style mostly from natural materials. Its interior plan is a loft-like with combined living and dining spaces. Natural materials are everywhere starting from wooden floors and ending with wooden furniture. In combination with more contemporary style elements like large glazing, sliding doors, stone glossy surfaces and leather they create amazing atmosphere. [Bates Masi Architects]

A Single-Family House Overlooking Fields and Fyn Beech Forest

This beautiful single-family house is located on a hill overlooking fields and Fyn beech forest. Its consists of two composite boxes which are done in simple gray, custom-made stone. The side facing the fields and forest, characterized by large windows that invite natural light inside. On the other side windows in contrary are made very small and low in order not to spoil the view with neighbors houses. The interior floors are mostly dones in specially polished oak which are made of small glued pieces. It doesn’t consist of standard rooms but has an open plan which is deviled by sliding doors and curtains. Thanks to that its interior is always different because chaining it is a very very simple task.
