This modern bright and airy apartment is located in Brazil. Clear, modern sleek lines and black and white color scheme make the house airy and fresh. To add some softness, the designers used beige color, and to make colorful accents they put some bright furniture around. Giant windows form floor to ceiling let the day light in; a storage wall in the living room is a smart variant for storage. Thanks to white and beige the space looks bigger. Minimalist white kitchen with wood is made funnier with the help of colorful tiles on the left wall. They are all different and help to make the place alive. The same shade of brown wood used everywhere in the apartment gives a special feature to it. It’s like Brazil itself – bright, fresh and colorful, full of light.

Not far from Malibu beaches is located this dramatic house of famous interior designer Kelly Wistler. She has an artistic taste and so every detail in the house is dramatic, cool and sometimes unexpected. The furniture is modern but the accessories and decorations are so various! Rustic, African style, pop-art and romantic, minimalism and unbelievable works of art. The house is full of beautiful sculptures and accessories that look like sculptures – coffee tables, lamps, storage boxes. Every room has its peculiar style and shapes, in the bedroom you may see objects of primitivism, in the living room – Dali style details. The colors are neutral, the shapes are emphasized. This special exquisite place is only for art-lovers.

Naturalness and minimalism are top fashionable now. Here is a perfect forest retreat in Berkshire, Massachusetts. The total square is 70 square meters, the authors are Maryann Thompson Architects. The house is not so big but it has everything necessary: a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and two bedrooms. The plan is done in the way to give the viewer a feeling of a wide space. The whole interior and all the furniture is done of natural wood of natural colors. The windows seem to be everywhere and they fill the space with daylight. The house seems to be full of peace, calmness and coziness. It’s a cool place to relax in and spend your vacation.

Winter has come and there is nothing better than staying in bed all day long and being in a house like this. It’s calm, cozy and casual. Some vintage details – lamps, an old fireplace and candleholders. The whole interior is done in white and light grey. These colors make you feel comfortable, cozy and lazy – that’s a casual interior, stylish, calm and inviting. The walls, floor and ceiling are white and that makes an impression of a winter fairytale. The living room is more modern – with minimalist furniture and lights. The atmosphere is so quiet and sweet that I dream of spending my Christmas holidays in such a place.

Aspen, Colorado, is a fantastic ski resort, an unusually beautiful and quiet place where you can touch the nature itself and feel relaxed. This 20-years-old house is located there. It was redesigned by Atelier AM. The owners wanted a stylish and functional interior and not a museum. The interior is done in stylish and comfortable modernism, the main feature is natural wood, all the rooms have their own colors: black, red, white and grey. Modern fireplace wall and objects of crazy shapes on the tables and furniture add a futuristic feature to the space while rugs, natural wood and used colors keep it cozy. Even the bathroom is beige to give a feeling of warmness to any person inside. Do you like the idea?

This two-leveled loft by designers Fernando Tapia and Monica Andina is located in Madrid, Spain. It has a typical Spanish national coloring – it’s full of art. The loft is very functional, it’s divided into two parts: in the first there is a living room, a kitchen and a dining room, in the second level there is a bedroom. Concrete and metal constructions are covered with tender interior colors and vintage furniture. There are portraits, pictures and even decorations on the walls – ants like on the pictures of Salvador Dali. The minimalist colors – white and light grey – are softened by the accessories and comprise a nice frame for the art objects.
