Secluded Cottage On An Island In Scandinavian Style

If you want a peaceful secluded life far from people and any cities you probably want to build a cottage like that in a place like that. The cottage is located on the Cape Breton Island, on the Northern most tip of Nova Scotia. If you want a retreat for being alone, writing a book or just forgetting of everybody – that’ s the best idea. Designers Eliot and Alexandra Angle who have tried that the building reflects the surrounding environment. They were inspired by the local barns and the Scandinavian aesthetic. The interior is nevertheless bright and full of natural light. Blue, green and grey create a very relaxing atmosphere and the views of the sea are very beautiful. This house is an oasis of privacy.

Modern Castle-Like House On The Beach

This is a beach dream! Big house with castle exterior right on the beach in Malibu. You can enjoy the sea, the sun or swim in the pool. Near this castle there is a terrace with lounge chairs and an amazing pool. As the nature outside is very bright the designers decided to make the interior also right, colorful and minimalist. Black, green ,red, crimson, orange – all these colors will raise your spirits at once. The windows are very big to give the panoramic views of the blue sea. Modern interior with colorful accents – what can be better? like the bathtub very much – it’s made of rough stone that looks amazingly organic. Both the interior and the exterior are stunning and chic, it’s a dream for any sea lover.

Apartment In Fusion Of Various Styles

This apartment is located in Stockholm, Sweden, at the top floor so it has wonderful views of the port. The owners decided to make the interior a mixture of different styles that are not usually combined: pop-art, modern classics and Provence style. As it’s a Scandinavian interior, the main color is white; the kitchen is made in modern classical style with several pop-art details, there is some furniture in Provence style – so light and delicate. The bedroom is also romantic thanks to the wallpapers and exquisite bed. The kid’s room is funny and bright with pink touches as it’s a girl’s room. The style is modern while there is still a romantic antique bed for the kid. I love the balcony – it’s decorated with great taste and is a fantastic place to enjoy the views. The chic of this apartment is in details that give it a special charm.

Dream House With Stylish Interior And Underground Cinema

There are many houses facing the sea now and the architects offer more and more inspiring ideas for building them. This exciting residence called Dakar Sow House is located on a cliff just above the immense stretch of water. The masterpiece is the product of collaboration between the architects of SAOTA and Antoni Associates as interior decorators. The interior is minimalist; the color scheme is white, black, grey and natural wood. As it’s located very close to the sea, some details also tell us of it: polls, installations, pictures, the spiral stairs that reminds of a seashell and the roof that reminds of surfing. Big windows were made to maximize the natural light and the views of the sea. Besides all the necessary rooms there is also an underground cinema that was made of an old World War Two bunker. The house is very practical and dynamic as the owners are a young family. Isn’t it a dream house for any sea lover?

Dramatic House Complex In Minimalist Style

This spectacular complex by SAOTA Architecture is located on Lake Geneva, Switzerland. It consists of a home and an office which are connected with an underground oasis of art and entertainment. The dramatic main part house is built up of rounded cubes and triangular masses, forming an L shaped living space. The interior is a classical Scandinavian cozy living space in cream and sand tones with beautiful art objects like a colorful six foot painting by Francoise Nielly and a horse statue. The house is very cozy despite of glass walls and high ceilings. There is also an underground part in the house featuring a spa, sauna, pool and cinema. Such a house is a real paradise where you can work, live and entertain as you like.

This beautiful apartment is located on the sea shore and it looks like a part of a SPA resort. Calm House In Front Of The Lake

This is a very calm and nice house in front of the lake. We couldn’t find out where it’s located or who the designer is but I couldn’t be silent about this place! A mixture of styles again. I love bright colors used as they add some freshness. The door to the lake is wonderful – it looks like a big old window! You can lift it and go to enjoy the nature. The furniture is absolutely modern – leather chairs and armchairs, modern fireplace. The kitchen is made in yellow that reminds natural wood and gives a rustic look. Everywhere in the house you can find giant windows in order to catch the views of the lake which is located right in front of the house. Near the house there are two terraces – one with a sofa and chairs, the second one – to have meals outside. Isn’t it the best place to enjoy your weekend?

A Beautiful House On The Coastline of Tenerife

The house called La Casa Jardín del Sol is a house that is made of glass and concrete on a wooden base, it stands on a rock with a fantastic view of the coastline of Tenerife. Bedrooms and public areas are situated in a parallelepiped. The kitchen looks like a studio, in the basement floor there is a gym with a separate entrance and a glass wall to enjoy the views during training. The volume is exterior and made of concrete. The facades are in harmony with the surroundings, they are opened and closed at the same time. There are wooden shutters on the windows in the zone of the bedrooms.

A Bungalow Made Of Wood And Glass

You can only dream about such a wonderful house! It’s the area of 3,500 square meters under a flat roof with a panoramic glazing. Inspired by the buildings of the 50 s the architect Andreas Zech created this bungalow at Lake Constance. The 400 square meters roof is reinforced by the steel beams; a large kitchen with a dining room turns into a big terrace. The northern façade of the house is totally glazed and thanks to that the owners can enjoy the views of the lake at any time from any room. There is a wonderful view from each room – even from the cloak-room. The style of the interior is minmalist and simple, I was really impressed by the living room with a fireplace and a beautiful modern bathroom.
