Classical Scandinavian Apartment In The House Of 1937

Thu, Aug 11, 2011 | Contemporary home designs | By Kate

This apartment is located in an old house of 1937 in a small town of Sweden. The designers changed the interior but some details remained unchanged. The old floors and the stove were renovated and some furniture is also antique and of rough wood. The interior is a mixture of minimalism and rustic style. The color scheme is classical for Scandinavian interiors: white is the main one, with a slight addition of grey, natural wood and yellow. The interior is very calm and natural, nothing unnecessary. Some old-fashioned details like a crystal chandelier in the bathroom and an antique style bathtub with Empire style legs. It’s a vivid example of a place for relaxation with a great sense of style.
