Coastal House Design with Rear Sheltered Courtyard and Wood Fired Pizza Oven
This relaxing holiday home is located in Emu Bay, Australia. It features panoramic sea views but is protected from winds. There are several timber decked terraces which provide outdoor seating depending on wind direction. The sheltered rear courtyard, framed by two bedroom wings of the building, large water tanks and timber screens focuses on a wood fired pizza oven. Corrugated colorbond, timber windows, flooring and decking, reinforces the relaxed timeless holiday atmosphere whilst the floating roof form adds drama to the exposed site. The living area also designed to maximize dramatic views with floor to ceiling windows. The house is designed with green technologies in mind. It has double glazing, smart cross ventilation and fans for cooling and a highly efficient combustion heater for heating. Hot water is from an efficient electric heat pump. [...] Esta casa de vacaciones ideal par el relax se encuentra en Emu Bay, Australia. Cuenta con vistas panorámicas al mar. Tiene varias terrazas con cubierta de madera que ofrecen mesas al aire libre en función de la dirección del viento. El patio trasero esta protegido, enmarcado por dos alas del edificio donde están los dormitorios, tanques de agua y grandes pantallas de madera se centra en un horno de leña . Ventanas de madera, pisos y cubiertas, refuerzan la relajada atmósfera de vacaciones eternas, mientras la forma de techo flotante crea una vista impresionante. La sala está también diseñada para maximizar la vista panorámica con ventanas de piso a techo. La casa está diseñada con las tecnologías verdes en mente.
