Not only TOTO specialize in small bathroom layouts in Japan. INAX is another company who also makes small rooms where tub and shower are combined and the whole floor could soak water. The floor and the mirror both have built-in heating. Such bathrooms are easy to clean up and are perfect for those who live in houses. The toilets are outside the door. In Japan, they like to separate the bath and toilet since the toilet is dirty and should not be near an area for cleaning. They also clean themselves thoroughly with the shower before entering the bathtub or “ofuro”.
