This modern concrete house in Switzerland is by MLZD Architecture and it shows industrial and modern décor at its best.

The concrete and the walls of glass are a nice juxtaposition in quality and functionality of materials. Glass walls connect the house with outdoors at maximum and the use of rough wood inside makes the house cozier and creates a cool textural look.

The living room features a glass walls framed with rough concrete and a cozy conversation zone with a black leather sofa. There’s a modern black fireplace that divides the living space from the dining area. The dining space is modern and fresh, with an oval table and bold yellow upholstered chairs. On the left there built-in bookshelves. Further you can see a cool industrial kitchen with a concrete kitchen island and a hockey table.

The master bedroom is super simple an laconic: it’s clad with rough dark wood completely. There are no bedside tables, only wall sconces. The concrete floor and a brass lighting fixture that remind that the house is industrial.

The bathroom is very laconic and industrial, completely covered with concrete. The stairs are also concrete and with a brass rail. There’s also a terrace done in the same laconic style as the rest of the house. There’s a rough wood dining table and blue plastic chairs and a bench. All the rooms are strongly connected with outdoors, both the backyard and the terrace, and the owners can enjoy the views. Get inspired by the ideas that designers showed while decorating this house!
