Today we often use e-books and laptops for reading; there are many digital media and this library by YTA is comfortable home for both usual books and modern media we use. This library is a playful, industrial aesthetic, with pine wood boards, concrete blocks and an exposed lighting scheme. It’s a space where you can read, write, work or lounge back on those cozy oversized seats and enjoy some visual media. Yet with all the technology incorporated into this design, it’s nice to see some vintage tributes here and there – like an old telephone, typewriter or mini tube TV. This space is in a bunch of styles – industrial, vintage and modern.
