Medieval House With Underground Tunnels And Caves

Can you imagine a house with underground caverns? Here it is! This unusual Domus Civita house is located in Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy, and belongs to architect and Studio F owner Patrizio Fradiani. The house was built in the 14th century and later reconstructed but the exterior of an old castle remained due to the old stone clad. The inside would surprise you because it’s truly modern – bright accents, white color as the main one, minimalist fashionable furniture. But the most interesting feature besides the contrast between the interior and exterior is the caverns and tunnels. All of them have been restored and transformed into a meditation room, an art gallery, a wine cellar and a pool area with a hot tub. Would you like to live in such a castle?
