The Leimu lamps by designer Magnus Pettersen remind of a chalice and would definitely become a great décor piece besides being a light source. A bulb is placed at the top of the stem so light emanates thought the copper-brown bowl above inspired by traditional lampshades. The lamp has a character (its name means ‘flame’ in Finnish): it was rather difficult to harmonize a glass shade with a concrete base but the result is striking! The designer managed to make so different materials and colors into an elegant whole. Leimu creates a relaxed atmosphere for enjoyable moments in good company.
