Designers Jenny Stefansdotter and Kerstin Sylwan launched a new and improved version of their Drawstring Lamp called the Kuu Lamp. The lampshade is made from a light-shielding fabric that gives the pendant a structured but organic look. Who could imagine a lamp made of just a piece of fabric? It comes in white or black fabric and is available in two different sizes – small and medium. Kuu ships flat to you and is easily assembled by cinching the drawstring tight on either side. I’d prefer the white version as it looks so ephemeral, like bubbles of air around. The concept is very modern and simple being so cute and cozy!
