Pendant Home Garden And Original Chandelier In One

Home gardens are always fashionable and everybody wants them, despite of having a real one outside. Here’s one more original idea of home gardens by Omer Arbel for Bocci – plant chandeliers. This is a new concept – glass spheres where you can put your plants that are not so big. Inside these big spheres you’ll find white planters and light bulbs. You’ll just hang these constructions to the ceiling and voila – you have a very original chandelier and pendant home garden. I don’t know if it’s very convenient in using, especially when you water the plants but the idea is cool.

Traditions And Modernity Combined Together In A Cool Korean House

This traditional house is located in Southern Korea and belongs to Hongnam Kim, art historian, a professor at Ewha Womans University. She wanted to create a house in the form of a hanok, the traditional wooden structure dating back to the Joseon dynasty in 1392. But inside she wanted to see a mixture of traditional and modern inside. And here’s the result. The house is divided into two parts: an anchae (owner’s residence) and a sarangchae (a guesthouse). Modern bathroom, kitchen appliances and furniture look amazing on the background of traditional walls and wooden doors. It’s an amazing mix of modernity and history in one!

Eco-Friendly Lavender Dresser Of Newspaper Wood

If you are looking for some glam chic interior pieces, this one is for you – it’s a touch of traditional northern chic but in an unusual color. This cabinet by Breg Hanssen for Vij5 was made of newspaper wood, that is wood planks made from old newspapers. The piece is amazingly chic, it’s casual though very original and the cool thing is that it’s eco-friendly. The design is rather simple: there are two doors that look like dressers but the charm is the color – sweet pink lavender. Such a piece would look great in any modern or casual interior.

Cool Retro Airstream Remodeled In Moroccan Style

Los-Angeles designer Rachel Horn and her husband bought and remodeled an 1800-foot express Airstream of 1969. Two years ago they bought it for $ 5 thousand and decided to create an interior in Moroccan style. The trailer isn’t big, just 55 square meters but there’s everything needed. Both inside and outside it looks awesome. Amazing sleeping zone that reminds of Eastern tales, a vintage kitchen and living room. Every detail is in Moroccan style but there are not too many colors, the color palette looks modest. Cool cushions, bed spreads, lamps, tassels and candle holders – every accessory takes you to the tales of 1001 nights.
