Babel is a five-tier bookcase with a trunk-like, conical form designed by Mario Mazzer for Bonaldo. It’s made of moulded polyethylene using a rotational technique and is available in various colors. The surface has irregular lines, giving it a natural texture. Besides it’s asymmetrical so it has double fronted compartments for small objects, ornaments, books, newspapers and magazines. The circular base means it can be easily placed at any place in any room. It can be even placed outdoors. With its sculptural design the Babel can become not only a storage object but an attention catcher, too.
