House on Aggressively Slopping Site Dressed in a Metal Wrap

Jovanovic House is a renovation of the existing villa done by Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects. It’s located on a very aggressive slopping site in the Crestwood Hills Neighborhood of Los Angeles. The house is dressed in a continuos metal wrap that protects it from the sun and other weather conditions. The wrap also changes the geometry of the house making it more simple and modern. At times privacy screening guardrail gold shading device, the house embraces the skin to create new found Relationships between indoor and outdoor and public and private modifiers.
