Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects have teamed up with interior design firm Antoni Associates on the Sprecher House in Hangklip, South Africa. The home is located in the Sea Farm Private Nature Reserve, so the owners wanted a contemporary low maintenance weekend retreat away from their busy lives in Cape Town. Natural colors and materials were used in the design, which makes use of large verandas and big glass windows that allow natural light in. The interiors are very stylish, modern, relaxing and with beautiful rustic touches. Living areas lie north-south to make the most of views of Hangklip Mountain, whilst protecting from the extreme Cape Coastal climate.
