Minimalist House With A Glazed Facade

Minimalist House With A Glazed Facade

This unusual and very calm house is located in Brittany and was built by French firm Lode Architecture. The D House on the banks of an estuary; the ground floor is a big open-plan space while the first floor has a series of smaller rooms. The ground floor has a glazed facade with views down to the water, the space is very open to the outside and there’s a lot of natural wood that also make it closer to nature. The stairs turn into the cubic shelves; upstairs you’ll find cork flooring and dark grey walls. Rough materials and natural shapes of wood give a strong contrast with the sophisticated glazed facade of the lower floor and make the house closer to nature.
