I think that mountain houses are exceptional: you not only get a spectacular view but also feel secluded. This holiday residence is located on a clifftop in the Valparaiso Region in Chile, overlooking the ocean. The setting is wild and spectacular, and architects Nicolas Lipthay Allen/ L2C respected this feature in their design. The element that anchors the house to the site is concrete, the predominant structural material. To speak about interiors, they are modern but with a very cozy feel, the color scheme and design is simple not to distract attention from the views. The patio outside is surrounded with high concrete walls to avoid the storing winds.
