Sprout is the latest residential project done by Japanese studio, Archi Farm. It’s located on an agricultural farm and combines Japanese minimalism and practicality of farm houses. The site is in a natural environment surrounded by fields and woodlands and the house fits it perfectly. One of the most noticeable feature of the house is the second ground roof that ressemble the lawn. The main living space is overlooking this roof that hides large farming vehicles below it. Another interesting solution is the using of well water that gets pumped up to the roof and acts as a cooling system.
