Modern Interior With A Free Layout Of A Very Small Apartment

Fri, Dec 24, 2010 | Modern home designs | By Mike

This bright apartment that resembles some surreal sketch is located on the top of one of high-risers on the Moscow’s major avenues. Even though the location is very prestigious the apartment itself is very small – only 34 square meters. Its interior is a reflection of owner’s style of life and he is a modern man. The apartment is full of colors and energy. It has a free layout and only the bathroom, the walk in closet and the larder are separated. To visually enlarge the space there was chosen white as dominating colour. The laconic bright pieces add vitality to the interior. The center of the studio is the round coffee-table, the red lamp above I and the soft sofa. The illumination is multilevel. It lets create various forms of illuminating, from soft diffused light to bright club like one. The architect made a very modern, ergonomic, comfortable and stylish interior where everything is on its place.

An interesting design, but even with all these bright colours it’s still a bit too cold in my opinion… some warm athmosphere is missed somehow, probably it has to do with the wide use of artificial lighting.
