This cozy and inviting country house is 200 years old, and the owners had to restore it and renovate a lot to get a house of their dreams.
The owners totally love those vintage details that the house had, and they decided to preserve some of them: stone facades and wooden shutters that perfectly fit new decor and also allowed to let much light in when opened. To keep the holiday mood up, the owners also made all the doors and windows French.
The living room strikes with its light feeling, the whole interior is done cream, from walls and the floor to upholstery, and thanks to this warm shade the interior is very cozy. A creamy palette is accentuated with black details like a hearth, some artworks, lamps and planters, they aren’t too many, so the room looks warm but they are enough to accentuate the décor.
The dining room is decorated in creamy shades also but there more earthy accents: wicker furniture, a light-colored wooden table and light green pillows. All these pieces are done in warm shades and make the space even cozier, and I also like the combo of pendant lamps over the dining table. The kitchen is pretty small, it’s kind of a cozy nook decorated in the same creamy shades. The kitchen island is a wooden one with baskets instead of drawers.
The bedroom décor is inspired by the sea holidays of the couple. That’s why there’s wood like in ship cabins, sea-inspired artworks and of course bedding. There’s also a ladder upstairs looking like a ship one.
