One-Of-A-Kind Penthouse With Architectural Details

One Of A Kind Penthouse With Architectural Details

This sleek, modern interior renovation was done by Matthew Bremer of Architecture in Formation. This 1,500 square foot duplex penthouse is a one-of-a-kind home with a sexy, sophisticated vibe. A minimal color palette lets the architectural details take the stage, like the origami folded, plate steel and Corian staircase that leads to the second floor. There’s a series of wall panels that mimic the lights of the Manhattan nightscape. The white panels are back-lit with LEDs giving the apartment a dreamy backdrop of its own. The sculptural staircase helps to section off the large living area without closing it off. A mirrored, back-lit wall in one of the bedrooms, featuring the same dashed pattern as the white wall downstairs, disguises the TV screen.
