This soft and moody apartment is a classic SoHo loft, built in the 1860s and spanning the blocks from fashionable Crosby Street to Broadway, is home to a New-yorker family of five. The interior was transformed into a contemporary and stylish space with a timeless style by design company OCHRE. The original walls and the pressed tin ceiling were kept where possible, keeping a connection to the apartment’s history, while an inspired decor of vintage pieces and contemporary furniture grounds the home into the present. I especially love the calm but exquisite color scheme and accents made with various pieces like a metal branch décor in the living room or an old mirror above the fireplace.
