Recently LG claimed that they designed the thinnest LED TV. They was going to present it at CES 2009 but Samsung beat them there. They first presented a 6.5mm thin LED TV panel. World Thinnest TV by LG

At CES 2009 LG is planning to release their new LED TV creation. It’s LH95 model and that is the most thinnest TV in the world at the moment. With a profile of just 24.8mm (0.97 inch), the LH95 is liable to snap in half in a light breeze. It supports 240Hz TrueMotion Drive technology and 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
