This apartment consists of two one-bedroom apartments in an East Village Coop overlooking Tompkins Square Park. It’s designed by Joel Sanders in modern style with multi-purpose built-in furniture and mood lighting as a flexible loft-like environment conducive to living, working and entertaining. These three areas have their own distinctive features like a built-in couch for lounging and watching media, and a work surface for working and dining. The kitchen island and the bathroom with a shower and a soaking tube are clad in black granite. The master bedroom and the living area both features LED mood lighting that easily could change color and be programmed. { Joel Sanders }

What’s the deal with all white interiors? This flat is boring. Even the table is white… what is going on this would feel so weird to live in.

I think it’s clean and pretty. It takes a small area and makes it efficient and peaceful. I can see where it’s sparseness doesn’t appeal to some but I think it’s quite a nice living arrangement.
