This house is located in Trosa, one of the wealthiest communities in Sweden. 40 minutes south from Stockholm and can find great villas with ocean views and better weather. Although the weather isn’t as good as it could be. Summers are light but short and the wind sometimes is a problem in that area. In spite of that WRB Architects tried to erase the border between indoor and outdoor. H-shape helps to create protected from winds courtyard, partly covered under roof. The main veranda is fully under roof and an open fireplace keeps temperature up during spring and fall. Main materials used during the construction are: concrete, rusty steel, untreated pine wood and oiled wenge. Even though the exterior looks a bit rough the interior made in dark wood is comfy enough. There is certainly a look of Sweden about the house.
But what a fantastic place to live.
