Founded in 1939 by Danish designer Holger Nielsen, Vipp makes a stainless, electroplated steel bin, lined with rubber, that gives your waste a gorgeous temporary home. Each bin is based on Nielsen’s original design and is handmade in Denmark at a rate of five per hour to ensure high quality. Each year Vipp make limited edition collection of full full bathroom sets. Usually they differs by color but colors are unique and amazing ones. This year limited edition series is called Yellow Cab. It’s a tribute to New York. Yellow color is also color of 2009 year by Pantone opinion.
The inspiration for the new line comes directly from the pulsating streets of New York. Here, in the city that never sleeps, more than 13.000 yellow cabs daily leave their clear impressions. Vipp Yellow Cab is available from February 1st 2009 and throughout the year in leading design stores.
