This apartment in Malaga is eye-catching and cool though the whole project was realized in two weeks! The apartment is 80 square meters, and for the family of four it isn’t that much, so one of the main tasks was to use every inch of space and get maximal comfort from it. This problem was solved with the help of smart apartment planning and compact and versatile IKEA furniture and lots of IKEA accessories – pillows, rugs, lamps, mirrors and so on.
The living and dining room décor is a play of contrasts. The base of the colors scheme is grey and white, which were complemented with bold yellow accents in all the shades from lemon to mustard. These pops refresh the room and add fun and positive to it. The space is maximized using smart ideas like a bench with storage to hide all the unnecessary stuff. The tiny kitchen in light colors is a perfect place for a quick breakfast with a folding table and a couple of bar stools. The kids’ room is done for the twins, so it has the same colors in each part but different décor to identify each child as a personality. The master bedroom is done in white, cream and beautiful shades of blue, and its beauty is in symmetry: a symmetrical pattern on the headboard, carpet and bedding. There are even two bedside benches for symmetry and for a practical reason – two benches mean more storage. The bathroom is done in the same basic white and grey but turquoise accents make it very refreshing and cool. This color is calm enough to help relax before going to bed, and at the same time sufficiently energetic to start the day.
