Eco Friendly Coastal House Invisible From A Distance

Today blending homes into landscapes is a hot trend in architecture as it looks harmonious and doesn’t spoil the natural look. Casa Till by WMR Arquitectos is located on the Chilean coast and was designed so that from a distance it would not be visible. The roof of Casa Till is level with a small hill in front of it and a path leads from the hill directly onto the roof making the home appear to be part of the landscape. Sliding walls create a flexible floor plan that is designed to take full advantage of the views both from the social zone and from the master bedroom. The home is eco-friendly: a small carbon footprint, use of local pine wood and the incorporation of solar panels within its rooftop deck.
