Chassis mirrors by Belgian design studio MaDe are great for bedrooms. They add volume to what is typically a flat object. The volume is defined by a thin metal framework. In that way the Chassis claims a more important space in its environment compared to a regular mirror, but at the same time it oozes elegance and lightness. Behind the mirror is room to fix an oak shelf on which smaller personal objects can be placed. Available in two different versions, Chassis can be hung to the wall and an XL-variation can stand free in the room.

Normann Copenhagen just unveiled the Horizon Mirrors. The simple design, which comes in three shapes and three colors, is outfitted with a practical steel shelf for placing objects which end up creating a cool visual effect. The mirror behind the shelf plays with the depth and the horizon created by items placed on the steel shelf, which double in the reflection.

A usual bathroom is set up so that a mirror is rather far away and you have to get up on your tippy-toes just to look closely at your face – that’s mostly about girls. Miior has solved this problem very easily – it has created a collection of mirrors that extend off the wall and allow you to stand with correct posture. The patented AXIO-LINK mechanism will give an opportunity to comfortably look at your face without bending over the sink.

Teun Fleskens designed a mirror, dubbed The Egg, that can easily be hung in your entryway for a quick peek before you head out the door. The mirror was also made to be paired with The Cabinet, which is a key shelf hidden behind it. The Cabinet is made of Corian and is the same, egg-shaped design of the mirror so it’s perfectly disguised behind it.
