Mid-Century London Apartment With Creamy Oak Interiors

Mid Century London Apartment With Creamy Oak Interiors

The owners of this pretty London apartment wanted to see a light entertaining space with a hint of the 70s chic – and they got it! Interior designer Daniel Hopwood created a sleek, creamy oak interior to complement the clients’ mid-century furniture collection. Bright color splashes come only from the art collection and some cool accessories. Only the library and reading room is with charcoal grey walls and shelving that covers an entire wall, and lighting was designed to be moody and subdued. Though the design is mostly mid-century, the materials used are modern: Corian, steel and various metals. The space is very stylish and elegant, and the use of colors is moderate but interesting.
