Minimalist House With Strict Geometric Shapes

Minimalist House With Strict Geometric Shapes

This cool house by Marc Prosman Architects was built in 2011 in Amsterdam, on one of the six artificial islands which compose IJburg region. The shape of the villa was dictated by the proportional volumes and the shape of the island. The façade is glass and it’s framed with wood; the geometrical shape is rather strict and there’s an unusual balcony. The interior is minimalist, lots of white color, natural light and fantastic views. The wooden cover of the house hides the private zones, it’s a perfect place for people who want to be far from the big city and enjoy calmness and silence.
