Minimalist House With Trees Planted Inside

This fantastic Kofunaki House by ALTS Design Office in Shiga, Japan, shows us how nature and interior can be combined in a very original design. Natural light and materials found outdoors became important parts of the interior: plants and trees taken from the outside were planted within the home. The design is minimalist, in the best Japanese traditions: light floors and walls make the space look wider and more luminous. Plants are decorations and zone separators at the same time, and the owners may feel the change of seasons thanks to them. I think, this time the designers found a fantastic solution for bringing outdoors home, do you agree?
