This colorful furniture collection is very cozy and inviting
It’s winter and everybody is looking for something cozy and comfy, we all need a nap in a cozy blanket or a knit cover. I’ve found a cozy furniture collection inspired by the knit pieces, and I’m rushing to share these items with you!
London-based designer Veega Tankun, has recently launched the brand veegadesign. Specializing in handmade furniture, lighting, and accessories, their ‘crafting comfort’ collection focuses on using traditional techniques in modern ways with bold colors and playful shapes to draw one’s attention. They employ unusual yarns and materials to craft their wares, like rubber, felt, and bungee cords, creating cozy, oversized stuffed knits and pairing them with wood bases for structure and durability.
A blue lounge chair is done of interwoven blue fabric, it reminds of some knot. There’s also a version of knit fabric for more coziness and comfort. My favorite piece is a chair with a bold purple knit back and a yellow string seat – look so bold and modern, and is so comfy at the same time.
