Relaxing House With A Neutral Interior In Austrian Alps

Relaxing House With A Neutral Interior In The Austrian Alps

Alpine houses are charming not only because of the amazing work of architects and designers but also due to the fantastic views! This Alpine retreat is called Haus Wiesenhof and is located in Tirol, Austria. The authors, Gogl Architekten, took the client’s request into consideration and created a getaway – a place of peace and contemplation with a strong relationship to the nature surrounding it. The house is spacious, light and airy, the colors are calm and neutral, and some archaic materials were used both for building and design. Generous openings with no thresholds allow the indoors to merge with the outdoors. Warm days inspire staying in the garden, and cold days – indoors in front of the stove but every moment the owners feel close to nature and very relaxed – exactly what they wanted.
