Renting homes isn’t that cool: you can’t customize the space as you like cause changes are usually not allowed. That leaves not much space for imagination and just some options that can be included into the interior but nevertheless making your home special is possible. Today we are sharing one of such homes that is rental but still shows off personality.
As this apartment is a rented space, the walls, floor and ceiling had to remain unchanged, so you may see brick and concrete walls plus wooden floors. All the new features come in the form of custom furniture. The team of designers created modular and versatile furniture which could be reused elsewhere in various different forms.
The corridor features a custom shelving unit and a desk fitted under the stairs that lead to the loft bedroom. The bedroom shows off only a large comfy bed with an upholstered headboard and a couple of floating nightstands with open shelves. The kitchen is quite small but has all the necessary features. A bar doubles as a divider between it and the living and dining area. A large sofa is complemented by a side table that can fit over it to save space. There’s a cool bike on display on the wall, it becomes part of the decor. The balcony accommodates extra seats which can be brought into the living space when needed. All-in-all, this was a very successful and inspiring remodel, which proves that there’s nothing impossible in design and even if you can’t make many changes, you can still get something personalized.
