The Watson Table designed by Brooklyn-based designer Paul Loebach will debut during the Milan Design Week 2011. This amazing piece of contemporary woodworking has spiraling legs that are inspired by DNA structure. The table is even named after James Watson, the American scientist famous for discovering the helical structure of DNA. It’s made of a wood and carbon composite so it’s very durable yet looks great. Besides sculptural legs its design is quite minimalist. The table is a part of the designer’s latest collection Some Recent Experiments that also features a chair, a pendant lamp and a side table.
