This kitchen is a big budget project for suburban home which is done by Arclinea studio. The concept was to create contemporary working kitchen which opens to the bar and formal dining area at one side, and the casual dining and home office space at the other. The kitchen is full of contemporary appliances which helps in every day life. There are two Wolf induction cook tops, one Wolf gas wok-burner cook top, stainless steel Gaggenau hood, Sub-zero Wolf refrigerator, Miele seed oven, Miele steam oven and other small appliances like coffee machine. There are also deep drawers under granite cooktop which are necessary for the homeowners’ adherence to kosher food. Two centrally located islands separate usual kitchen tasks. One island near the bar area is designated for cleanup, with dishwasher, sink and storage for glassware. The second island is near the casual dining area, allowing everyone to participate in the cooking. With natural oak cabinets the kitchen displays beauty and comfort which also has everything necessary for contemporary living and cooking.

You have some very slick ideas for kitchens. This sort of thing just blows my mind! Unfortunately, the architecture of our tract home is such that it would look very much out of place. But I do very much like the idea of something like what you’ve done with the clean lines in these kitchens. I keep hoping I will eventually come up with a monster-mash idea for our kitchen (I’m a cabinetmaker), which is why I spend so much of my spare time surfing the Internet. Thank you for sharing these ideas. You have given me much to think about.
