You are right when you say that black and white in decorating is very popular. It seems to have gotten a lot more acceptance these days and with adding rich color accents you can really create any atmosphere you want.
I wanted to redo my bedroom in black and white and was looking for some black and white accents. I came across a website that had satin pillowcases. The interesting thing was they had an entire collection just for black and white. They had over thirty different patterns, from florals to polka dots. I bought a standard set to sleep on in one print and another set of king size in a different print to use strictly as accent pillows against my headboard. I couldn’t be happier.
