Interactive and flexible furniture conquered the world! The furniture that can be changed somehow according to your needs becomes more personalized. Bridge shelves designed by Barcelona- and Singapore-based Outofstock are rather changeable. The creative design was inspired by suspension bridges, and the name comes from the same thing. First, a wooden baton is attached horizontally to the wall. From this, three solid oak shelves of different lengths are suspended using bent steel rods, and the color of the wood and ‘threads’ is contrasting – light wood and green. The users can configure their own arrangement of the unit by moving the shelves along the baton. It’s a functional and inspiring design, flexible and useful for any modern or industrial interior.
